Chubu Ecotec Co. Ltd. is a corporate group of Chubu Shiryo Co. Ltd. (A company listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange ▪ Share capital 2.7 billion Yen ▪ Annual turnover 150 billion Yen).
The history of the company: Late Mr. Hirano Takeo, the founder of Chubu Shiryo, established the company in the year 1978 by developing “Livestock waste disposal plant - Compo” which processes the livestock excreta with the purpose of social responsibility. The company started sales activity in 1981.

After that, the development in the fermentation technology took place for over more than 30 years. The sales number of “Compo” equipment reached up to 3500 units in the domestic market of Japan. The company has gained an overwhelming response especially in the group of large-scale animal husbandry.
Moreover, there are merely three companies including ours which have been officially approved among hundreds of the domestic companies dealing with the processing of animal manure, in Japan Livestock Industry Association which is an auxiliary organization of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan.　In addition, our company is the only one to receive approval for the dung processing machine of sealed style.
The technology of processing of domestic animal’s dung is developed in Japan where the land is small and the population is dense. This particular technology is not even found in America or Europe. Chubu Ecotec Co. Ltd. is the No. 1 company in Japan to use livestock excreta for producing the organic fertilizer and this technology is considered to be “World’s No.1”.
In Asia/South America, where the economic development is remarkable, the demand for animal products is increasing till the date, with the advancement in income. It is expected that the demand for safe and tasty agricultural products will also increase.
It is considered that the idea of producing high-quality organic fertilizers from livestock excreta came from the citizens of this country because of the complaints/pollution from the neighborhood due to the expansion of the size of cattle farm, and with the appropriate processing of the livestock excreta for the production of high-quality vegetables.
